The Blood on the Leaves cast and crew did it! On Octotober 13th we wrapped principle photography on the feature film with just under two weeks of filming behind us. Making a micro-budget local feature film in that short of a period of time was a monumental task to undertake, but everyone pulled through and made the experience an extraordinarily rewarding one.
Imani Khiry (City Boy), Mike Hurst (Sound Mixer), Ryan Haggerty (Director of Photography), Vincent Barnard (Director), and Nora Hewitt (Special Effects) frame up a pivotal shot in the woods.
With this film "in the can" so-to-speak, it's time to move onto post production. Vincent will be editing the film over the next few months and we'll hopefully have a teaser trailer in a few weeks. The footage (shot by Ryan Haggerty) all looks amazing and will play very cinematically on the theater screens we plan on releasing to early Summer 2016.
